Dear Friends, Volunteers, and Supporters,

We Did It!

District 7 voters have spoken loud and clear with their votes on Tuesday.

With their support and yours, we were able to put together a great campaign and a greater victory on Election Day!

I am very proud of the way in which we ran the campaign.  I was blessed with great staff and volunteers. My family was tremendous in their support and sacrifice, and the amount of support throughout District 7 was heartwarming.  I am honored that our message resonated with voters on Election Day. 

Thank you to the hundreds of people who provided us with much needed moral and financial support. 

Thank you to the campaign volunteers who selflessly helped to spread our message. 

Thank you to the voters of District 7 for giving me the opportunity to continue to serve you.

But let me express again my sincere thanks for all of the time, money, hard work, and emotional support that many of you have contributed to the campaign.

We could not have possibly done it without you, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for believing in me and standing by my side.

This campaign does not end here. I will continue to be a Councilmember who works tirelessly to create more jobs within our district, to spearhead initiatives that will reduce crime and to commit myself to tackling all public policy issues that affect you.

We have done it in the last three years and we will continue to do so.
