Since her election to the San Jose City Council in September 2005, Councilmember Madison Nguyen has worked hard to resolve many issues through various venues such as creating a dialogue with constituents by hosting quarterly Town Hall meetings, developing a District 7 weekly update and quarterly newsletter, organizing an annual Prom Dress Donation drive and Youth Job Fair, putting together annual Litter Pick Up and Dumpster Day events as well as attending monthly neighborhood association meetings and city wide committee and commission meetings. With the help of city staff and neighborhood leaders, Madison has made significant progress on some of the most pressing issues that affect her district.
